MICROBLADING REMOVAL
All of our clients choose to use laser as a means of removing their microblading (all photos on this website are done using laser removal) But there is another option, Saline Removal. We don't offer saline removal here but we'd like to compare both options as a reason why we think laser is a more effective way to remove your unwanted microblading.
USING LASER
Cosmetic tattoo pigments are made up of smaller pigment particles that are suspended in a diluter – this allows for a more natural, softer colour in the skin that can be layered to create a much more realistic finish. Traditional tattoo inks are much more concentrated which means that they are much stronger in colour.
This makes microblanding pigment much easier remove compared to tattoo ink.
As an average, it can take 2-6 sessions to achieve full removal and these are carried out every 4-8 weeks.
USING SALINE
There is also something call Saline Removal...
Usually using a tattoo machine, the device punctures the top layer of the skin which opens the area. The main ingredient used for this tattoo fading technique is Sodium Chloride (salt). When the sterile solution is implanted into the area to draw out the ink/pigment, a process called osmosis is induced which successfully attracts fragmented ink particles, drawing them out of the skin. The skin will then scab over, heal and the ink/pigment will be lifted away as the scab falls off.
It typically takes 2-3 sessions for the fading to become visible and an average of 6-10 sessions are required to see good fading overall.
The healing process takes longer, is much more inconvenient for the client and there's a higher risk of scarring.

Does laser hurt?
There is an element of pain involved like any laser procedure. See your pharmacist who can recommend a numbing agent prior to treatment.
These numbing agents help take the edge off and can make the process more bearable.
What will happen to my eyebrow hair?
Hair may temporarily whiten and become more brittle.
The rate of replacement of facial hairs means the whitening/brittleness is not permanent.
How long does each session take?
Approximately 10 minutes.
